TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms & Conditions before using this website or placing an order. They apply to consumer purchases from Mr Guy Fawkes Fireworks. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

1. About us

Mr Guy Fawkes Fireworks supplies fireworks and related products from Unit 11, Astra Business Park, Manchester, M17 1SU. You can contact us at support@mrguyfawkesfireworks.com or on 07305 866703.

2. Age restrictions and verification

You must be 18 or over to order adult fireworks from us. The person receiving a delivery or collecting an order must also be 18 or over. We operate age-verification checks and may request suitable photographic identification before accepting an order, at collection or on delivery. We may refuse or cancel an order where age cannot be verified.

3. Products and availability

Product photographs and videos are illustrative. Colours, effects, timings, packaging and specifications may vary slightly between batches or manufacturers. All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or a refund for the unavailable item.

4. Placing an order

After you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, confirm that your order is ready for collection, or otherwise expressly accept the order. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance, including where a product is unavailable, payment or age verification fails, delivery is not possible, or there is an obvious pricing or description error. If payment has already been taken, we will refund the affected amount.

5. Prices, payment and promotions

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before you complete checkout. Payment methods available for your order will be displayed at checkout. Orders are not released until any required payment has cleared. Discount codes and promotions may have separate conditions, expiry dates and exclusions. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount may be used per order. We may withdraw or amend a promotion at any time, but this will not affect an order already accepted.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to eligible UK Mainland addresses using a specialist delivery service. An adult aged 18 or over must be present to receive and sign for fireworks. Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date. We will deliver within the agreed period and, unless another period is agreed, no later than 30 days after the contract is made. If delivery cannot be completed because no eligible adult is present, suitable identification is not provided, or the address or access information is incorrect, reasonable redelivery or return costs may apply where these have been explained to you. Full delivery areas, charges and arrangements are set out on our Delivery & Collection page.

7. Collection

Where collection is offered, please wait until we confirm that your order is ready. The person collecting must be 18 or over and may need to show the order confirmation and suitable photographic identification. Orders must be collected during the agreed opening hours or collection slot.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights, including the arrangements required for regulated explosive products, are explained on our Returns & Refunds page. Please contact us before attempting any return. Fireworks must not be sent through Royal Mail, an ordinary parcel carrier or the normal postal network. For eligible distance-sale cancellations, you must normally tell us within 14 days of receiving the goods and return them within a further 14 days. Approved refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law. We may reduce a refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has diminished the value of the goods.

9. Damaged, faulty or incorrect goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Please inspect your order promptly and contact us if anything is damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described. Keep the goods and all packaging, and do not dispose of or attempt to transport a damaged, failed or partially fired firework until we have given safety advice. Your remedies are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law.

10. Safe and lawful use

You are responsible for reading and following the manufacturer’s instructions, safety distances and the Firework Code. Use fireworks only in a suitable location, keep spectators and animals at a safe distance, and comply with applicable laws, local restrictions and permitted firing times. Never relight or approach a firework that has failed to function. Products must not be altered, dismantled or used for an unlawful purpose.

11. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for loss caused by your failure to follow product instructions, safety guidance or the law. We are not liable for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, supplier failure, regulatory action or restrictions affecting the carriage of explosives. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have the benefit of mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
